ABOUT THE ROLE
This role sits within Hardland's Technician Career Ladder (TO-T3), offering clear expectations, skill-based wage progression, and transparent advancement opportunities.
The Landscape Technician 3 / Senior Lead Installer is Hardland's top standard technical field role. This role is built for a high-level installer who can lead technical execution, protect quality, direct sequencing, train others, and keep production moving.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead technical execution for patios, walkways, retaining walls, softscape, fencing, and pool-related scopes
Lead complex interlocking work, transitions, curves, steps, and finish details
Lead layout, grade control, and technical sequencing in assigned work areas
Train and steady TO, T1, and T2 team members
Catch mistakes early and maintain quality during production
Solve field installation issues before they become rework or callbacks
Support advanced winter operations if assigned and qualified

Complex scopes are completed to Hardland standards
Production stays on track without sacrificing quality
Rework is prevented through strong technical oversight
Lower-level team members improve under your guidance
Layout, grade, and detail work are consistently accurate
Assigned work zones run smoothly and professionally

Concrete Paver Installer Course
Segmental Retaining Wall Installer Course
Residential Hardscape Installer Course
Commercial Hardscape Installer Course
Advanced skid steer and excavator field signoff where assigned
DZA Restricted training where required
Hardland SOP and standards training
Leadership and crew-development training
